New at Airwallex: June Edition

It’s a big month for us with the official launch of Airwallex Billing. AI is changing how businesses price and charge customers faster than most billing tools can handle. Airwallex Billing was built for exactly that. No matter how you bill or where you sell, your revenue operations can finally keep pace.
Beyond Billing, we continue to ship exciting updates across the rest of the platform — more ways to accept payments locally, smarter tools for your team to manage spend, and new infrastructure to keep you in control and in the know.
Read on for what’s new in June:

Introducing Airwallex Billing
This month, we announced Airwallex Billing. Whether you’re creating invoices, managing subscriptions, or charging customers based on usage, it all lives on a single platform — built to grow with your business.
- Create, track, and send invoices in 130+ currencies, and let customers pay with 160+ local payment methods
- Automate recurring revenue with subscription management — manage plans, trials, upgrades, and renewals without manual work
- Track consumption, calculate fees, and charge customers accurately with usage-based billing
- Automatically calculate global sales taxes and generate compliant local invoices for cross-border operations

Business Accounts
Open up marketplaces in Viet Nam with local collections
Businesses selling on marketplaces in Viet Nam such as Shopee and TikTok Shop can now collect Vietnamese dong directly using Viet Nam Global Accounts. Simply create your Viet Nam Global Account, connect your marketplace store to Airwallex in order to increase your deposit limit, and then bind your new account to your Shopee or TikTok Shop to start receiving Vietnamese dong locally.

Payments
Accept Octopus in-store with Airwallex POS in Hong Kong
You can now accept Octopus as a payment method at your point of sale in Hong Kong through Airwallex POS. Octopus is used daily by millions across transit, retail, and dining, and adding it in-store means your customers can tap and pay with the card they already carry everywhere. Combined with Octopus online, PayMe, Alipay HK, and FPS, you now have comprehensive coverage of Hong Kong’s local payment methods through a single integration. Learn more here.

Spend
Early accessSync Spend with Microsoft Business Central
Airwallex Spend now syncs with Microsoft Business Central, so you can import your chart of accounts, dimensions, and tax rates; as well as categorise card expenses, reimbursements, and bills against that data. You can also sync vendors between Airwallex and Business Central and connect multiple Business Central entities to one Airwallex instance, replacing CSV exports and custom scripts with a first-party integration that keeps your books aligned. Request higher spend limits
Employees can request temporary changes to their card’s spend limit. These requests automatically follow existing Spend Request approval workflows. Temporary limits automatically revert once the end date passes, ensuring flexibility for projects or travel without the risk of raised limits being forgotten. Admins retain the ability to set, edit, or remove temporary limits directly.

Improve visibility of team spend with manager analytics
We've expanded Spend Overview to give managers a clear view of their team's spend. Managers can now understand team spend at a glance, drill into detailed analytics, and build their own custom views, an experience previously reserved for admins. They can also see all card expenses and reimbursements for both direct and indirect reports, without needing to be set up as an approver.
Additional releases:
Find card transactions without digging through lists: Search card transactions instantly by merchant, card, or user, leveraging suggestions as you type and powerful free-text search. Clearer transaction statuses now make it easier to distinguish between refunds and settled spend, while simplified views enhance scannability.
Developer Experience
Monitor Airwallex’s service health in real-time with the new Status Page
Customers can observe the health of Airwallex services in one centralised place at status.airwallex.com. The new page shows real-time status across Airwallex's product domains, surfaces and data centres, along with live incident updates, scheduled maintenance notifications, and 90-day historical uptime for reliability monitoring. Subscribe via email, SMS, Slack, or RSS to stay informed.
