Airwallex adds Affirm’s flexible pay-over-time options for US shoppers

SAN FRANCISCO: Airwallex, a leading global financial platform for modern businesses, and Affirm (NASDAQ: AFRM), the payment network that empowers consumers and helps merchants drive growth, today announced that merchants on Airwallex can now provide Affirm's flexible payment options at checkout to their eligible US customers.

Eligible Airwallex merchants based in 35 countries can now offer Affirm’s familiar, transparent pay-over-time options to eligible shoppers in the US, without an additional integration. 

US shoppers selecting Affirm at checkout can choose the payment schedule that works best for them, including four interest-free installments or monthly installments of up to 24 months. Affirm never charges late or hidden fees, and shows shoppers what they will pay upfront, with no surprises.

For merchants selling to US shoppers, offering Affirm through Airwallex can help support higher conversion and basket sizes. While many platforms require merchants to administer separate contracts and dashboards for new payment methods, merchants on Airwallex can offer Affirm payments seamlessly. Airwallex now supports more than 160 payment methods across the world.
