GlobalAirwallex (Sub-)Processors List

Airwallex engages financial partners, service providers, and corporate affiliates to support Airwallex in delivering its services for and on behalf of Airwallex customers.
Airwallex’s role
If Airwallex engages third-party service providers in connection with personal data, those providers may act as processors or sub-processors, depending on Airwallex’s role.
When Airwallex acts as a data controller for personal data it processes from for example customers or end users, we may appoint third-party processors that process personal data on our instructions.
When Airwallex acts as a data processor on behalf of our customers, certain third parties we use to deliver those services are treated as sub-processors under the GDPR and other global privacy regimes. Sub-processors are service providers that have, or may have, access to or process personal data that Airwallex processes upon instructions of its customers.

Third party due diligence
Before engaging any third party (including processors and sub-processors), Airwallex carries out appropriate due diligence, including vendor risk and security assessments. All (sub-)processors are bound by contractual terms designed to ensure that they process personal data only:
for the purposes of providing services to Airwallex and/or Airwallex customers;
in accordance with Airwallex’s documented instructions and commitments to our customers; and
in compliance with applicable data protection laws (including GDPR and equivalent regimes).
The list below outlines the processors and sub-processors we use, in which region they are used, and a high-level description of the services they provide. We will periodically update this page to reflect additions and removals to our list of (sub-)processors. (Sub-)Processors
