A. The Promotion

  1. The Airwallex 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final Competition (the Promotion) commences at 5.00pm AEST on Tuesday, 8 September 2026 and closes at 5.00pm AEST on Monday, 21 September 2026 (the Promotional Period), unless otherwise shortened or extended by the Promoter.

  2. The Promoter is Airwallex Pty Ltd (the Promoter) of Ground Floor, 29 Balfour Street, Chippendale NSW 2008.

  3. Entry into the Promotion (an Entry) is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

B. Eligibility

  1. Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over (each an Entrant) who own or are employed by a business that is legally registered in Australia.

  2. Employees, officers and contractors of the Promoter, its related companies, and partners associated with the Promotion, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.

  3. The Promoter is not responsible for any delay in, or failure of, transmission or completion of an Entry, including Entries not received by the Promoter during the Promotional Period.

C. How to enter

  1. To enter, an Entrant must, during the Promotional Period:

    • complete and submit the official entry form with the requested basic business and contact details;

    • answer the following question in 100 words or less: “Tell us about a time in your business or career when you had to dig deep and make a bold decision. What was at stake, and how did your extra effort change the game?”; and

    • acknowledge these Terms and Conditions.

  2. An Entrant may submit one Entry only, unless otherwise stated in the promotional material. Entries submitted on behalf of another person, or generated by automated means, are invalid.

  3. Any marketing opt-in presented on the entry form is separate from acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and does not affect an Entrant’s ability to enter. An Entrant may withdraw marketing consent at any time, subject to applicable law.

D. The prize

  1. There will be one winner (the Winner).

  2. The Winner will receive one fully funded 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final experience for the Winner and one guest, comprising:

  • two tickets to the 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Saturday, 26 September 2026, scheduled to commence at 2:30 pm AEST, valued at $900;

  • return economy air travel for the Winner and guest to Melbourne, where reasonably required based on their place of residence;

  • accommodation in Melbourne for the night  reasonably required to attend the event; and

  • a $500 spending allowance, which may be provided using an Airwallex Visa Gift card or another method determined by the Promoter.

  1. The total prize value is up to $5,000 AUD. The final itinerary, travel arrangements, accommodation, ticket location and spending allowance will be determined by the Promoter.

  2. The prize must be taken on Saturday, 26 September 2026. The Winner and guest must comply with all applicable airline, venue, ticketing, AFL and event terms and conditions.

  3. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash or any other benefit, except as required by law. The Promoter may substitute a prize or prize component with a prize or component of equal or greater value if the advertised prize is unavailable, subject to applicable law.

  4. Unless expressly stated above, the Promoter is not responsible for additional costs incurred by the Winner or guest, including meals, incidental expenses, travel insurance, passports, visas, transfers, baggage charges, upgrades or any other personal expenses.

  5. If the Winner or guest is unable or unwilling to travel or attend the 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final on the specified date, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to another eligible Entrant.

E. Judging and notification

  1. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the Winner.

  2. Eligible Entries will be judged by the Promoter on or before Wednesday, 23 September 2026 at the Promoter’s offices at Ground Floor, 29 Balfour Street, Chippendale NSW 2008.

  3. The Winner will be selected based on the Promoter’s assessment of the Entry’s:

  • creativity and originality;

  • relevance to the question and the Hot Seat theme; and

  • quality, clarity and strength of the business or career story.

  1. The Winner will be notified by email on or before Tuesday, 22 September 2026. The Promoter may publish the Winner’s name or otherwise announce the result where permitted by law.

  2. The Winner must respond to the Promoter’s notification within 24 hours, or within any shorter period specified in the notification because of the time-sensitive nature of the prize, to confirm acceptance and provide the information needed to arrange travel, accommodation, tickets and any spending allowance.

  3. If the Winner does not respond within the required period, cannot accept the prize, or is found to be ineligible, the prize will be forfeited and the Promoter may select another Winner from the remaining eligible Entries using the same judging criteria.

F. Personal information and publicity

  1. The Promoter will collect, hold, use and disclose each Entrant’s personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at https://www.airwallex.com/au/terms/privacy-policy#privacy-policy__scope-of-policy.

  2. Entrants consent to the Promoter using and disclosing their personal information for the purposes of administering the Promotion, contacting Entrants, arranging and redeeming the prize, and dealing with matters connected with or incidental to the Promotion.

  3. Where an Entrant has separately opted in, the Promoter may use their personal information for marketing, planning, product development and promotional campaigns, including by email and SMS, in accordance with applicable law.

  4. By submitting an Entry, an Entrant grants the Promoter a royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, distribute, communicate and display the Entry, in whole or in part, for the purposes of administering, promoting and publicising the Promotion and the Promoter. The Promoter may contact an Entrant separately if it wishes to film or publish the Entrant’s name, image, voice or likeness.

G. General

  1. Incomplete, indecipherable, illegible, late or otherwise invalid Entries will be deemed invalid and removed from consideration.

  2. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

  3. The Promoter may verify the validity of Entries and Entrants and disqualify any Entrant who breaches these Terms and Conditions, tampers with the Entry process, or uses an automated entry device or software.

  4. If the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including because of fraud, technical failure, interference, or any other cause that corrupts or affects its administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct, the Promoter may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, subject to applicable law.

  5. To the maximum extent permitted by law, each Entrant releases and indemnifies the Promoter and its related companies, contractors, employees, directors and officers from and against any cost, loss, fine, penalty, expense, damage, liability, claim or injury arising from or connected with the Entrant’s participation in the Promotion or acceptance or use of the prize, except to the extent that liability cannot be excluded by law.

  6. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or injury, including consequential or economic loss, arising from or in connection with the Promotion or prize, except for liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

  7. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies any consumer guarantee, warranty, condition, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited, excluded or modified.
