Who is eligible to enter the competition?
Any Australian resident aged 18 years or over who is employed by or owns a business registered in Australia can enter. Unfortunately, if you’re an employee or family member of Airwallex or our related companies then you won’t be able to participate.
How will winners be selected?
This competition is a game of skill, so chance plays no part in selecting the winner.
To enter, eligible entrants must complete the official entry form, provide the requested business and contact details, answer the following question in 100 words or less:
“Tell us about a time in your business or career when you had to dig deep and make a bold decision. What was at stake, and how did your extra effort change the game?”
Entries will be judged by Airwallex based on creativity and originality, relevance to the question and 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final competition, and the quality, clarity and strength of the business or career story.
Will transport and accommodation be provided?
Yes! The winner will receive return economy air travel for themselves and one guest to Melbourne, where reasonably required based on their place of residence, plus accommodation in Melbourne for the night reasonably required to attend the event.
The prize also includes a $500 spending allowance. The final itinerary, travel arrangements, accommodation, ticket location and spending allowance will be determined by Airwallex. Additional personal costs, such as meals, travel insurance, baggage charges and upgrades, are the responsibility of the winner or guest.
What does the prize include?
One winner and one guest will receive a fully funded 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final experience, including:
Two tickets to the 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Saturday, 26 September 2026, scheduled to commence at 2:30 pm AEST.
Return economy air travel and transfers to Melbourne, where reasonably required.
Accommodation in Melbourne for the night reasonably required to attend the event.
A $500 spending allowance, which may be provided using an Airwallex Visa Gift card or another method determined by Airwallex.
The total prize value is up to A$5,000. The prize must be taken on Saturday, 26 September 2026, and the winner and guest must comply with all applicable airline, venue, ticketing, AFL and event terms and conditions.
