New at Airwallex: July Edition

Shannon Scott
Chief Product Officer

This month's spotlight is Airi — our new consumer wallet that lets shoppers check out in one click, anywhere on the Airwallex merchant network. It's built to reduce payment friction and lift conversion, without adding fees.
We've also been busy across the rest of the platform. We're continuing to expand into new markets and languages, adding local payment methods across Europe and the Americas, giving finance teams sharper controls over cards and expenses, and opening up a new way to run Airwallex workflows through AI agents.
Here's what shipped in July:

Introducing Airi
Meet Airi — Airwallex's consumer wallet, built to reduce payment friction and improve conversion. Once shoppers save their payment details with Airi, they can check out in one click with any merchant that accepts Airi. Airi recognises returning shoppers across its global network, so first-time visitors to your store get the same one-click experience.
With Airi, you enjoy:
- Up to 14% higher conversion
- 3x faster checkout compared to standard card payments
- No additional fees
Available now on Hosted Payment Page, Drop-In and Payment Links. More integrations coming soon.

Business Accounts
Operate your Airwallex account with AI agents through AgentOS
Finance teams can now operate their Airwallex account through their preferred agent, like Claude and Cursor, using the new Airwallex AgentOS. Connect your agent to Airwallex through the Airwallex CLI or MCP server, and turn multi-step, multi-platform workflows into a single request. Pre-packaged Skills guide agents on common finance workflows, enhancing existing agent workflows and simplifying finance management.

Automate your DATEV transaction sync across currencies
Customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland can now connect Airwallex to DATEV, the most popular local accounting software. This includes the ability to automatically sync wallet transactions on a scheduled basis, including multi-currency balances such as EUR, USD and GBP, with each transaction kept in its original currency. This gives you a faster way to keep your records up to date, reduce manual export work, and backfill past transactions when you need to. Manage multi-currency funds and issue cards in Malaysia
Businesses onboarded to Airwallex Malaysia can now access Global Accounts and multi-currency wallets, and FX conversions with access to interbank rates, transfers to 200+ countries and virtual and physical card issuing for employee and business spend. Get started with a more complete financial setup as you grow in a key Southeast Asian market.
Additional releases:
Use the Airwallex WebApp in German: You can now view the Airwallex WebApp in German, alongside English (UK), English (US), Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Spanish (Mexico). This gives your team a more localised experience and makes it easier to use Airwallex day to day as you grow across Germany and the wider European market. Use Airwallex Payments on Hyvä checkout for Magento
The Airwallex Magento plugin now supports Hyvä Theme, one of Magento’s most popular performance-focused themes. With the Hyvä compatibility module, you can offer the same seamless setup experience as Luma, along with cards and 160+ local payment methods at checkout. Learn more here.

Spend
Raise and resolve transaction disputes on cards
Cardholders can now raise and track disputes directly from eligible card transactions in the Airwallex WebApp. Select the dispute reason, add supporting evidence, and follow progress through a visual timeline, replacing the previous manual process with a simpler, streamlined experience.

Manage cards across your organisation
Admin and cardholders can now manage cards across accounts in their organisation, all from a central view. This provides greater visibility and control across entities, without the need to switch between accounts to review cards, cardholders, transactions, and related settings.

Capture attendees on expenses and reimbursements
Employees can now add attendees to card expenses and reimbursements, capturing who joined a business meal or event. Attendees sync to your accounting system and export with the expense, giving finance teams the structured records they need for audits and tax compliance.
Additional releases:
Add payment details before bill approval: Choose or update payment methods while bills are still in draft mode, allowing AP teams to streamline preparation and avoid last-minute setups.
Sync amortised bills to NetSuite: Customers using NetSuite can now add amortisation details to supported bills for a seamless sync. Enjoy cleaner accounting records, fewer manual adjustments, and a smoother month-end close.
Create and update bills through the Spend API: Developers can now create bills in Airwallex via the Spend API and mark them as paid after external processing. This integration simplifies connecting Airwallex Bill Pay with your existing AP, ERP, and finance systems.
Sync Spend with Campfire and Rillet: Airwallex Spend now integrates with AI-native ERPs Campfire and Rillet. Card expenses, bills, and reimbursements flow directly into your general ledger, accelerating reconciliation and closing processes.
