At checkout, customers simply scan a Swish QR code or select Swish as a payment option and confirm the transaction in the Swish app.

Payer experience
To pay with Swish, shoppers must have an active Swish account. Swish QR codes can only be scanned using the Swish app and are not supported by standard banking apps.

On desktop: Shoppers scan the Swish QR code using the Swish mobile app and confirm the payment in-app. The QR code expires in 3 minutes.

On mobile: Shoppers are redirected directly to the Swish app to authenticate and complete the payment, with no QR code scanning required.
The payment is confirmed instantly once completed.
