Your funds are held in money market funds managed by JP Morgan, designed to preserve access to your funds while delivering consistent returns. These investments focus on stability and quick access, with a strong track record of low risk. They are often used by large companies and banks to guard against inflation.
Money market funds are not guaranteed. The value of your investment may go down as well as up.
Your funds are always segregated from Airwallex’s assets. They can only be utilised based on the instructions you give Airwallex. Because Yield allocates funds to investment products, these balances are not held as safeguarded e-money and are not covered by any deposit guarantee scheme.

What is Airwallex Yield?
Airwallex Yield gives you a simple way to invest your idle cash through money market funds which are considered low risk. You can invest EUR, GBP and USD balances and seek to earn returns on your money.* You can choose to withdraw your funds from Yield at any time, with funds settling into your cash balances in your Airwallex account.
How does Airwallex Yield work and what returns could I earn on my balance?
Through Airwallex Yield, customers can earn returns on EUR, GBP and US dollars in money market funds which are considered low-risk. A money market fund is a fund that invests in a diverse range of highly liquid, diversified and low risk assets. These funds are designed to be a stable and liquid investment option for money.
Airwallex Yield invests in JPMorgan Liquidity Funds – EUR or GBP or USD Liquidity LVNAV Fund, which have historically tracked local cash interest rates for the region.
How long does it take for funds to move in and out of my Airwallex Yield account?
If you choose to withdraw money or deposit money into Yield before the following cutoff times, your transaction will normally settle to your cash balance the next business day:
EUR : 13:00 in Luxembourg
GBP: 12:30 in London
USD: 16:00 in New York
Yield deposits and withdrawals are not processed during public holidays.
EUR orders will not be processed during ECB Target closing days and weekends
GBP orders will not be processed during UK Public Holidays, UK Bank Holidays and weekends
USD orders will not be processed during US Public Holidays, US Bank Holidays and weekends
EUR, GBP and USD orders will not be settled on ECB Target closing days
