Disputes

A dispute, also called as a payment chargeback, occurs when a consumer challenges a transaction and asks to reverse it. It is a protection tool that allows consumers to get their money back for fraudulent charges or purchases that don’t live up to standards by submitting a dispute. Disputes usually happen in card payments but can also happen in other payment methods like digital wallets. It is the merchant’s responsibility to decide whether to accept or defend the disputes.
