Reach Hong Kong shoppers with PayMe

PayMe is a popular mobile wallet in Hong Kong, backed by HSBC. With over 3 million users, it enables users to make instant payments directly from their PayMe balance or linked bank accounts, available 24/7.

At checkout, customers simply scan a PayMe QR code or select PayMe as a payment option and confirm the transaction in the PayMe app.

Payer experience

To pay with PayMe, shoppers must have an active PayMe account. PayMe QR codes can only be scanned using the PayMe app and are not supported by standard banking apps.

  • On desktop: Shoppers scan the PayMe QR code using the PayMe mobile app and confirm the payment in-app.

  • On mobile: Shoppers are redirected directly to the PayMe app to authenticate and complete the payment, with no QR code scanning required.
