Konbini payment, as known as convenience store payment, is the second most common payment method in Japan, which allows shoppers to make offline cash payments in convenience stores for their online purchases.
Konbini payment can be made through various convenience store chains, such as Lawson, FamilyMart, Ministop, and Seicomart.

Shopper experience
- After selecting Konbini as their payment method at checkout, shoppers will be provided with payment instructions and details.
- Shoppers must then visit a participating convenience store — Lawson, FamilyMart, Ministop, or Seicomart—and complete the transaction using the provided payment confirmation details.
- Once the payment is made at the store, it is instantly confirmed.
