Reach Taiwan shoppers with JKOPay
JKOPay is a popular wallet in Taiwan. With around 7 million users, it enables users to make instant payments directly from their JKOPay balance or linked bank accounts, available 24/7.
At checkout, customers simply scan a JKOPay QR code or select JKOPay as a payment option and confirm the transaction in the JKOPay app.

Recurring payments
JKOPay supports 2 types of recurring payments:

| Scheduled | Customers authorize a fixed payment amount at a fixed billing frequency. | Subscriptions (for example, streaming services, memberships). |
| Unscheduled | Customers authorize a maximum amount, with flexible timing and amount. Customers can adjust the maximum authorized amount before confirming the agreement. You should refer to the authorization response to confirm the approved limit. | In-app purchases, top-ups, usage-based services. |
To enable recurring payments, an additional agreement must be signed once your JKOPay activation request is approved. Please contact your AM/CS if you want to offer recurring payments. Note that settlement and payment method fee for recurring payments will be settled directly between JKOPay and you, but you can continue to initiate payment requests and manage activity via Airwallex.
Payer experience
The checkout experience is the same for both one-off and recurring payments:
