Supported regions and currencies

Currencies
Airwallex issued cards are multi-currency cards, which can be used for transactions in any currency supported by Visa, as long as you have sufficient balance in your Airwallex Wallet to cover the transaction.
Direct Billing is a feature that allows Airwallex to directly debit your Airwallex multi-currency Wallet in the transaction currency when you have sufficient funds available. For example, for a GBP transaction, your GBP wallet will be debited if sufficient GBP funds are available.
The following currencies allow for direct billing:

If you have insufficient funds in the transaction currency wallet for direct billing currencies, Airwallex will automatically convert and debit from your primary currency wallet using Airwallex FX rates with an applied auto-conversion markup (if auto-conversion is enabled). If auto-conversion is not enabled, the transaction will be declined.
For all other currencies (indirect billing currencies), Airwallex will always debit from your primary currency wallet, converting the transaction amount using Airwallex FX rates with an applied auto-conversion markup.
