This page describes the status transitions for the cardholder object from when you submit cardholder information to when the cardholder is ready for card issuance. Note that in most cases, cardholder verification will be completed immediately.

## Cardholder status transition

Status transitions when a request to create a cardholder object is submitted.

| **Status** | **Description** |
| ---------- | ------- |
| INCOMPLETE    | Your request to create the cardholder has been received but the information is incomplete.  |
| PENDING    | Your request to create the cardholder has been received successfully and is under review.   |
| READY   | The cardholder has passed the review process and is ready to be issued cards.   |
| DISABLED   | The cardholder has been disabled by Airwallex.  |



Status	Description
INCOMPLETE	Your request to create the cardholder has been received but the information is incomplete.
PENDING	Your request to create the cardholder has been received successfully and is under review.
READY	The cardholder has passed the review process and is ready to be issued cards.
DISABLED	The cardholder has been disabled by Airwallex.
