White-label virtual cards

Implementing virtual cards as a white-label product is straightforward. You'll need to create a card design according to standards provided by Airwallex, to enable Airwallex to obtain the necessary approvals for your launch. Typically, the go-live time frames are between 3 to 4 weeks from the start.

White-label physical cards

At Airwallex, we provide a comprehensive white-label physical card program, enabling you to offer precisely the design and brand you desire. We collaborate closely with you to ensure the perfect fit for your customers. Our program includes full bespoke manufacturing, ensuring the highest quality for your cards — no hot-stamping or screen printing shortcuts! Typically, the go-live time frames are between 2-3 months from the start.

The process for white-labelling a physical card generally comprises the following steps.

  1. Design: We collaborate with you and our card printing vendor to design your card, carrier and envelope. We'll guide you through the advantages and disadvantages of various printing techniques to ensure you're satisfied with the final design.
  2. Sampling: We collaborate with our vendor to manufacture and send you a sample of your physical card before starting mass production. This allows you to physically inspect your product, make any necessary adjustments, and ensure its quality before proceeding with full-scale manufacturing.
  3. Manufacturing: Airwallex takes control and works with our card printing vendor to manufacture cards and get them delivered to a fulfillment center ready for dispatch.
  4. Testing: Airwallex configures your card program and works with you to perform end-to-end testing to ensure everything works and performs as expected.
  5. Go live: After successful testing, you're ready to go live with the card program.

White-label digital cards

Airwallex’s Issuing API suite gives you the ability to completely white label digital wallets such as Apple/Google Pay and offer a completely native experience starting right from your own mobile application. Typically, the go-live time frames are between 3 to 4 months from the start.

The process for white-labelling digital wallets generally comprises the following steps.

  1. Contracting: Airwallex will guide and assist you in executing the contractual requirements necessary for digital wallet providers to recognize and approve your integration, granting you access to all required endpoints and documentation.
  2. Design: You'll need to create a card design according to standards provided by Airwallex, to enable Airwallex to obtain the necessary approvals for your launch.
  3. Technical Integration: Airwallex will enable you to provision and manage a digital wallet card program directly using Airwallex's Digital Wallet Management APIs and relevant documentation.
  4. Operational setup and marketing: Airwallex will help you to set up the required operational processes to run a digital wallet program effectively, and will also provide support with marketing efforts upon product release.
  5. Testing: Airwallex will configure your card program and work with you to perform end-to-end testing to ensure everything works and performs as expected.
  6. Go live: After successful testing, you're ready to go live with the card program.

White-label digital wallet product requires integration with white-label notifications to function effectively.

White-label 3DS

3D Secure authentication (3DS) is an authentication process that provides an additional layer of security to transactions by requiring shoppers to complete a verification step during the checkout process. Depending on the region you are operating in and your account type, you may be eligible for Airwallex to white label the 3DS step-up screen on your behalf. All Airwallex requires from you is your company logo that you wish to present on the step-up screen and we will handle the rest.

Contact your Airwallex Account Manager to assess your eligibility and to learn more about this feature.

White-label issuing notifications

Issuing white-label notifications allow your business to tailor the user-experience of issuing notifications received via email or SMS. This product is generally used in conjunction with the other white-label products to enhance your white-label experience and tailor it to your specific needs.

Airwallex offers two types of white-label notifications to service your business’ requirements — Co-branding model and Delegation model.

  • Co-branding model: Your customers receive issuing notification emails from Airwallex that include both your business’ and Airwallex’s branding.
  • Delegation model: Airwallex will send your business a webhook when your customers require a notification related to the Airwallex issuing product, and your business is responsible for delivering these notifications to your customers. These notifications are completely white-labelled and Airwallex branding is not present.

Your requirements and the issuing white-label products you’re using with white-label notification will determine which model suits you best. To get started with any of our white-label offerings including access to comprehensive documentation, reach out to your Airwallex Account Manager.
