How does a multi-currency card work?
A multi-currency card is used like any other payment card.
The key difference is that you can use it to make payments in multiple foreign currencies without any unexpected international transaction fees.
Not only are multi-currency cards specifically designed for making international purchases, but they also let you load money onto your card in multiple currencies ahead of time.
What is the benefit of a multi-currency card?
Any business paying for goods and services in more than one currency will benefit from the reduced fees associated with a multi-currency card.
You can save money by loading funds onto your card in multiple currencies at a fixed, low-cost FX rate or pay when you need to in your home currency at the current FX rate.
For example, you may use it to purchase supplies from an overseas merchant or for your regular software subscriptions.
I was using employee cards for free, can I keep using them for free?
If you had at least one active Employee Card on or before 6 April 2022, you are considered a “grandfathered” customer. This means you won’t be charged for employee cards if you do not activate Airwallex Expenses. You will be charged for employee cards if you activate Airwallex Expenses, for the period during which it is active. Airwallex Expenses can be de-activated at any time, and you will no longer incur any fees relating to Employee Cards or Airwallex Expenses, after de-activation.
Do these prices include GST?
The listed prices are exclusive of GST.
What happens if I disable Airwallex Expenses part of the way through a cycle?
If you disable Airwallex Expenses during the cycle, you will retain access to your employee cards and you will continue to be billed for active cardholders.
Will I be charged for company cards?
You can continue to issue and use Company Cards, free of charge. Note that company cards are unavailable in Apple Pay or Google Pay.
