As part of reviewing customer profiles and activity, Airwallex may request additional information about an account or transaction by raising a Request for Information (RFI). The RFI may contain one or more follow up questions if more clarification is needed. For more information, see RFIs
You can simulate RFI sessions for all RFI types (KYC, KYC_ONGOING, CARDHOLDER, TRANSACTION, PAYMENT_ENABLEMENT) using the RFI sessions simulation API. This allows you to test if your subscribed RFI webhook events are received and managed in your integration.
For complete, scenario-based guides that tie an RFI to the resource that triggers it, see:
- Simulate a KYC RFI: onboarding an account from submission to activation.
- Simulate a Transaction RFI: a transfer under review, including the sent and failed outcomes.
