Manage Shopify connections

To manage all your Shopify store connections from a single location, use the Connections tab in the Airwallex web app. From here you can view connected stores, discover and install Airwallex apps, customize the redirect payment page theme, and configure which payment methods appear at checkout.

Before you begin

• You have an Airwallex account with Payments enabled.
• You have at least one Shopify store to enable Airwallex Payments on.

View connected stores

To see all Shopify stores connected to your Airwallex account:

1. Log in to the Airwallex web app .

2. Go to Settings > Connections.

3. Select the Shopify tile.

You see a list of all Shopify stores that have at least one Airwallex app connected. Each store entry shows the store name and the apps installed on that store.

4. Select a store to view its connection details, including all installed apps and their status.

Connect a new store

To connect an additional Shopify store to your Airwallex account:

1. On the Shopify Connections page, select Add store.

2. Browse the list of available Airwallex apps, organized into two sections:

   • Checkout Apps — Card Payments, Online Payments (Global Payments), Klarna, Afterpay, iDeal.
   • Operational Apps — Sales Order, Fraud Protection.

3. You can search by payment method name to find the relevant app.

4. Select an app to view its description, then click the installation link to go to the Shopify App Store listing.

5. Install the app from the Shopify App Store and follow the prompts to connect it to your Airwallex account.

6. Return to the Connections page and select Refresh connection status to verify the app appears as connected.

Customize the redirect payment page theme

For stores using the Airwallex Online Payments apps, you can customize the appearance of the Airwallex-hosted payment page by adding your store logo.

1. On the Shopify Connections page, select the store you want to customize.

2. Select Customize theme.

3. Upload your store logo.

4. Optionally, update the store name displayed on the payment page.

5. A preview of the payment page with your branding appears on the right side of the panel.

6. Select Save to apply your changes.

The customized theme is applied to all redirect-based apps connected to this store.

Configure payment methods for the Online Payments app

If you have the Airwallex Online Payments (Global Payments) app installed, you can control which payment methods are displayed to shoppers during checkout.

1. On the Shopify Connections page, select the store you want to configure.

2. Select the Online Payments app (or Global Payments app, depending on the version installed).

3. Select Configure payment methods.

4. Select or deselect the payment methods you want to display at checkout. You can search for specific payment methods by name.

5. Select Save to apply your changes.
