Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the Airwallex Malaysia VISA Card 1% Cashback on Overseas Send Campaign (the "Promotion") offered by Airwallex (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. with registered office at Level 21, Suite 21.01, The Gardens South Tower, Mid Valley City, Lingkaran Syed Putra, 59200 Kuala Lumpur ("Airwallex," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms are incorporated into and form part of the Customer Agreements between you ("Participant") and us ("Customer Agreements") regarding the use of our services ("Services") and shall be interpreted as such. Capitalised terms not defined herein shall have the meanings assigned to them in the Customer Agreements.

1) What these terms cover. These are the terms and conditions which apply to your participation in the abovenamed promotion which is further described below (the “Agreement”).

2) Eligibility criteria. You are eligible to participate in the Promotion if the following conditions are satisfied (“Eligible Customer”):

  • be an existing Customer of Airwallex; 

  • sign up for and receive a VISA Prepaid Card from Airwallex (“Airwallex Card”); and

  • use the Airwallex Card to make eligible international purchases during the Promotion Period.

3) What is the Promotion Period? This Promotion commences on 1 June 2026, 00:00 MYT, and ends on 31 December 2026, 23:59 MYT (the “Promotion Period”), unless extended or shortened by Airwallex.

4) What is the promotional offer? A 1% rebate on international transactions using your VISA Prepaid Card  (“Eligible Transactions”), during the Promotion Period. This rebate will be credited to Participant’s account as a cashback reward on a monthly basis.

5) What are Eligible Transactions? The Promotion benefits are: 

  • 1% cashback on international transactions made using your Airwallex Card:

    • Eligible Customers will be entitled to receive a cash rebate (“Cashback”) equal to one (1) percent of all your eligible international transactions made using the Airwallex Card during the Promotion Period. 

    • The Cashback will be calculated in the transaction currency. If the transaction currency is not the same as your billing currency, the Cashback will be converted at the prevailing FX Exchange Rate (as defined in our Treasury Management Terms) into your billing currency on the last date of the relevant month when the international transactions took place, before it is credited to your account.

    • The Cashback applies to both Company and Employee cards linked to the Participant’s account.

6) Expiry of rebate offer. Once the Promotion Period expires, you will be charged our standard rates.

7) Your acceptance and agreement. You are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by this Agreement by receiving any Cashback payment pursuant to the Promotion.

8) General Terms

  1. Indemnification: Eligible Participants agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Airwallex group and its officers, directors, employees, advisors, agents, and subcontractors from and against any loss, damage or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) incurred in connection with any claims, actions, demands, suits or proceedings made against the Airwallex group by a third party or suffered by the Airwallex group in connection with or as a result of the Eligible Participants’ breach of these Terms, failure to comply with applicable law or the Eligible Participants’ use or misuse of the Promotion.

  2. Airwallex will not accept any liability if any information submitted by any third party service providers, network providers, software and applications (including but not limited to Visa) to Airwallex has been delayed, lost, invalid or unidentifiable due to any technical problems of the computers or networks.   3. The eligibility of transactions for the purpose of the Promotion is determined by Airwallex in its sole and absolute discretion from time to time. Airwallex shall not be liable to determine the eligibility of any transactions for the Promotion before they are made by the Eligible Customer.

  4. You may not use any other promotions, discounts or offers from us in conjunction with the Promotion, unless specified by Airwallex.

  5. Eligible Transactions exclude transactions including but not limited to those expressly prohibited under and not supported by our Services pursuant to the Customer Agreements and/or the Acceptable Use Policy and transactions of similar nature. Eligible Transactions also exclude unposted, cancelled, suspended, refunded, unauthorized, charge back transactions and any other transaction as designated by Airwallex from time to time.

  6. Cashbacks may be reversed if any Eligible Transactions (in full or in part) are subsequently cancelled, suspended, frozen or refunded. Airwallex also reserves the right to debit the Cashbacks from your account without prior notice where any fraud, abuse or unlawful conduct has occurred.

  8. We reserve the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.

  9. This Agreement will automatically terminate if your customer agreement with Airwallex is terminated for any reason.

  10. Any personal information you provide to us in connection with the Promotion will only be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy at https://www.airwallex.com/terms/privacy-policy.

  11. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under this Agreement to another entity by posting such an event on this webpage (if this happens).

  12. You may only assign or transfer your rights or obligations under this Agreement to another entity if we agree in writing.

  13. Cashback cannot be transferred to third parties or other accounts, or exchanged for any other gifts, returned or exchanged for other products or services.

  14. This Agreement is between you and us. No other person has any rights to enforce any of its terms.

  15. The Parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia to settle any dispute arising out of, relating to or having any connection with these Terms, and any dispute relating to any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with it
