Conversion variations
Conversion variations only apply to LockFX.
You can apply the following LockFX variations to your account to strike the right balance between cost, speed and matching of commercial workflows to the pricing and execution flow selected. Contact your Airwallex Account Manager to add/update any of these variations on your account.
Quote validity period
Quotes with a range of validity periods are available via the API. Once a quote is retrieved, you must request a conversion using that quote before the expiry time returned in the response. Airwallex supports the following quote validity periods:
- 1 minute
- 15 minutes
- 30 minutes
- 1 hour
- 4 hour
- 8 hour
- 24 hour
The default configuration on newly opened Airwallex accounts are validity periods from the Short group below - only one group can be assigned per Airwallex account. In the event your workflows are better suited for longer validity periods, your Account Manager will help to assign your account to a group with longer validity periods.

Quote usage
LockFX allows for quotes to be used either multiple times for execution (MULTI_USE) or just once (default SINGLE_USE) depending on how your account is set up. This variation will change how you retrieve quotes from Airwallex and use them to execute transactions.
