Norwegian bank and account number formats
For local payouts to Norway, you should provide locally formatted bank code and account number, which are possible to be extracted from a 15-character Norwegian IBAN:
- Bank code (4 digits): 5th-8th character
- Account number (7 digits): 9th-15th character
KID (Kunde-ID) for invoice payments
KID (Kunde-ID) is commonly used in Norway for invoice payments. It helps the beneficiary automatically reconcile and allocate the incoming payment to the correct customer and invoice in their accounting systems, reducing manual matching and delays.
For local NOK payouts to Norway, providing a KID is optional. If you want to include a KID, pass it in the same reference field as your payment reference using the format below:
- Use the separator: |
- Put the payment reference before the separator and the KID after the separator
- KID must be alphanumeric and 2–25 characters long (provide it exactly as supplied by the beneficiary/invoice)
