Full Connected Account model

This model is ideal for marketplaces looking to fully onboard sellers and offer them additional services. Refer to the guide below for a sample integration.

Step 1: Create a full connected account for sellers

Use Create a Connected Account API to create a full connected account for onboarding a seller.

Step 2: Deposit buyer's funds to seller's wallet

Depending on your choice of acquiring entity, follow the corresponding steps to split and deposit funds to the seller's wallet.

• Use Airwallex as the payment service provider (PSP) to acquire funds: See details in Process payments and manage funds.
• Use other payment service providers (PSPs) as the acquirer: See details in Get started with PSP-agnostic solutions.

Step 3: Payout from seller's wallet to seller's external bank account

The following capabilities can be used to pay funds to sellers who are onboarded as full connected accounts.

• Payouts: Trigger payouts to seller's external bank accounts using Airwallex's Transfer APIs. Airwallex's network of local clearing systems supports payouts to bank accounts in multiple countries and currencies, with country-specific delivery time taken into consideration to ensure the payouts arrive in time.
• Issuing: Issue cards to sellers for them to spend their Airwallex Wallet balances.
