1. About the Campaign

These terms and conditions (the Terms) govern participation in the Airwallex Corporate Card 1% Cashback Campaign (the Campaign). By participating in the Campaign or receiving Cashback, you agree to these Terms.

The Campaign is offered by Airwallex (Hong Kong) Limited (Airwallex) to eligible customers incorporated in Hong Kong. Airwallex provides the Airwallex Business Account and Corporate Card, determines customer eligibility, credits Cashback, and may amend these Terms or change or terminate the Campaign.

These Terms form part of the agreement governing your use of card products issued by Airwallex (the Customer Agreement). Any capitalised term not defined in these Terms has the meaning given in the Customer Agreement.

The Airwallex Business Account and Corporate Card are available to entities incorporated in Hong Kong. They are not offered to entities incorporated in Japan.

2. Eligible Customers

An Eligible Customer must meet all of the following requirements:

1. It is an entity incorporated in Hong Kong.

2. It was not an Airwallex customer, and had not previously used any Airwallex service, when the invitation email was sent.

3. It received the Campaign invitation through My Hong Kong | 迷香港 and applies through the dedicated link on the My Hong Kong | 迷香港 page.

4. It completes its application to register for an Airwallex Business Account (Sign-up) through that link by 23:59 (Hong Kong time) on 14 November 2026 (the Application Deadline).

Airwallex will determine eligibility, including whether the Application Deadline has been met, based solely on its own records held by Airwallex (including the application submitted through the dedicated link on the My Hong Kong | 迷香港 page).

For these Terms, Sign-up occurs when the customer completes its application to register for an Airwallex Business Account. The customer does not need to complete know-your-customer (KYC) checks or any other review by the Application Deadline. A customer that completes Sign-up by the Application Deadline remains eligible even if its review is completed after that date.

No separate enrolment or other action in the Airwallex web application is required to participate in the Campaign. 

Airwallex reserves the right to determine who may receive an invitation to the Campaign.

3. Cashback

An Eligible Customer may receive cashback equal to 1% of the value of each Eligible Transaction made using an Airwallex Corporate Card (Cashback). Cashback is denominated in US dollars. Transactions denominated in Hong Kong dollars and other currencies may qualify.

There is no fixed end date for the Cashback period. Airwallex may, however, amend or terminate the Campaign as described in Section 8.

Cashback applies only to Eligible Transactions made after the customer’s account has been activated. An account is activated when the customer has completed KYC and all other required procedures and its card is available for use.

There is no maximum amount of Cashback that an Eligible Customer may receive.

Cashback cannot be combined with any other benefit, promotion, discount or incentive unless Airwallex agrees otherwise in writing.

4. Eligible Transactions

An Eligible Transaction is a transaction of at least USD 30 or its equivalent made by an Eligible Customer using an Airwallex Corporate Card, excluding the Excluded Transactions listed below.

An Excluded Transaction is a transaction with any of the following merchants or merchant categories:

• Charitable organisations

• Tax payments

• Government services not elsewhere classified

• Fines

• Household appliance stores

• US federal government agencies

• Court costs, including alimony and child support

• Postal services operated by government agencies

• Grocery stores, including convenience stores and specialty food stores

• Insurance sales, underwriting and premiums

• Direct marketing for insurance services

• Fast-food restaurants

• Parking lots, parking meters and garages

• Cinemas

• Cable, satellite and other subscription television, radio and streaming services

• Theatrical producers, excluding motion pictures, and ticket agencies

• Real estate

• Colleges, universities, professional schools and junior colleges

• Primary and secondary schools

• Correspondence schools

• Business and secretarial schools

• Vocational and trade schools

• Schools and educational services not elsewhere classified

• Non-financial institutions dealing in foreign currency, liquid assets or cryptocurrency, including cryptocurrency exchanges

• Non-financial institutions selling or reloading prepaid cards

• Amazon

Airwallex may determine, in its sole discretion and at any time, whether a transaction qualifies as an Eligible Transaction. Airwallex is not required to determine whether a transaction will qualify before it is made.

Eligible Transactions do not include transactions prohibited under the Customer Agreement or Airwallex Acceptable Use Policy, or any similar transactions. They also exclude unposted, cancelled, pending, refunded, fraudulent or charged-back transactions and any other transactions Airwallex designates from time to time.

5. Crediting Cashback

Cashback for Eligible Transactions made in a calendar month will be credited to the Eligible Customer’s Airwallex account by the end of the following calendar month. Cashback will be calculated in US dollars and rounded down to the nearest whole US dollar.

Cashback will not be credited if:

• the customer closes its Airwallex account before the Cashback is credited; or

• the customer’s Airwallex account is not in good standing.

If all or part of an Eligible Transaction is cancelled, held, frozen or refunded, Airwallex may reverse the related Cashback. If Airwallex identifies fraud, abuse or unlawful conduct, it may debit an amount equal to the Cashback from the customer’s account without prior notice.

Cashback cannot be transferred to a third party or another account, redeemed for cash, returned, or exchanged for goods or services.

6. Other Conditions

Opening an Airwallex account and receiving a card are subject to Airwallex’s approval processes.

The Airwallex Corporate Card may be used only up to the available balance in the customer’s Airwallex account. It does not provide revolving credit.

Airwallex does not charge any fee for participating in the Campaign.

Eligible Customers must retain records of their Eligible Transactions. If a dispute arises, Airwallex may require the customer to provide records or supporting documents. Submitted materials will not be returned. Airwallex’s determination of whether a transaction qualifies is final.

Airwallex is not responsible if information provided to Airwallex by Visa or any other third-party service provider, network provider, software or application is delayed, lost, invalid or unidentifiable because of a computer or network technical issue. See the Customer Agreement for further details.

No person other than an Eligible Customer and Airwallex, including their respective successors and permitted assigns, has any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap. 623 of the Laws of Hong Kong) to enforce or benefit from any provision of these Terms.

7. Indemnity

The Eligible Customer will indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Airwallex group and its officers, directors, employees, advisers, agents and subcontractors against any loss, damage or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from the customer’s breach of these Terms, failure to comply with applicable law, or use or misuse of the Campaign.

8. Changes to These Terms and Termination of the Campaign

Airwallex may amend these Terms or the Campaign, or suspend or terminate all or any part of the Campaign.

If Airwallex makes a change that is detrimental to an Eligible Customer or terminates the Campaign, it will notify the Eligible Customer at the email address registered to its Airwallex account at least 30 days before the change or termination takes effect.

Airwallex may, without prior notice, revoke a customer’s eligibility or suspend or terminate its participation if the customer breaches these Terms, the Customer Agreement or any other terms agreed with Airwallex, or if Airwallex suspects abuse, fraud or unlawful use of the Campaign. Airwallex may do the same where required by applicable law or regulation.

Airwallex’s decision regarding any dispute relating to the Campaign is final.

Termination of the Campaign will not affect Cashback accrued in respect of Eligible Transactions made before the effective date of termination, which will remain payable in accordance with Section 5.

9. Personal Information and Governing Law

Personal information provided by customers will be handled in accordance with Airwallex’s Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Any Japanese translation of these Terms is provided for reference only. If there is any inconsistency between the English and Japanese versions, the English version prevails.
