Lumi works across all participating Airwallex merchants, shoppers only need to create their Lumi account once. When they visit your checkout – or any other merchant that has enabled Lumi – they can pay with one click using their saved details, giving you access to a growing base of Lumi shoppers who convert faster and are less likely to abandon their cart at checkout.

Airwallex has built a range of client-side integration methods that allow you to manage your UI, minimize your implementation effort and get to market quickly.

How it works

First-time shoppers

1. Shopper enters their email address and mobile number. Shopper verifies their mobile number with an SMS/email one-time password (OTP).
2. Shopper enters their card details, and the payment method is automatically saved in their new Lumi account.
3. Payment is processed and the payment method is securely saved for one-click use on future purchases.

Returning shoppers

Lumi automatically detects if a customer is enrolled by using a browser cookie.

1. Shopper clicks on "Pay".
2. One-click Lumi payment is completed. That's it!

Customer portal

Shoppers can manage their saved payment methods through the Lumi Customer Portal :

• Add, update, or delete saved cards
• Set a default payment method
• Manage account settings (Name, email, mobile number, signed-in devices)
• Get help
• Delete account
• View login sessions
