Enable Klarna, Afterpay, and WeChat Pay

Automatic currency switching
For Klarna and Afterpay, the plugin automatically switches the payment currency to match the shopper's billing country when currency switching is enabled in your Airwallex account. This increases conversion by allowing shoppers to pay regardless of your store's base currency.
Supported currencies:
| Payment method | Supported currencies |
|---|---|
| Klarna | EUR, GBP, USD, AUD, CAD, NZD, and other currencies depending on the shopper's country |
| Afterpay | AUD, CAD, NZD, GBP, USD |
To enable currency switching, go to the Airwallex WebApp and turn on automatic currency conversion for the relevant payment method.
Example: Payment currency swapped to USD for payment via Klarna for a US shopper.

Checkout experience
At checkout, your shopper sees the payment method with the title, logo, and description you configured.

When a shopper selects the payment method and confirms their order, they are redirected to the payment provider's page (Klarna, Afterpay, or WeChat Pay) to complete payment. After a successful payment, the shopper is redirected back to your store's order confirmation page.
